Epic Garden is an action RPG playable on Android.
So you’re thrown into a world where ordinary plants and animals developed a rather hostile sentience. It’s a garden where its inhabitants want to take care of you – rather take you out for good. Not only that you’re in charge of tending the greenery, but you’re also going to have to fend off monstrous creatures terrorizing the place.
Let’s dive into the thick of things. There’s a lot of features you would expect to appear in an RPG – in case this is not your first rodeo into the subgenre. You’ll be taking out monsters in wave attack formats, where completely destroying the current wave will let you take one the next. Sticking too close to the enemy gets you contact damage. Boss stages appear when you’re near the end of a currently-explored world. Each head honcho has a unique attack pattern you’ll familiarize yourself with. Finishing stages reward you with Gems. These stones are used to summon gear in one of two banners. You can go for cheap gear in Basic Summon, but the chance to have the best equipment for your gardener is found in the Premium Summon section. Save up on Gems and let your skill carry you through content as far as it could, and you can then take the shot at having more powerful equipment.
Your gear is the backbone of your character. Different grades and different stats mean you will be picking only the best of the best once you reach higher content levels. Weapons, armor, and accessories can be improved by leveling them up and increasing their grade to better tiers. The duplicates you get are fused into better items. There’s also a collection mechanic where your stats increase the more gear pieces you get. You won’t have to worry much about gear grades at the start of play. Early enemies won’t withstand too many well-placed hits before going down. Only at the later levels will it feel that the creatures can soak up all your damage, lose a small chunk of health, and knock you out in one or two hits.
There should be no game with ‘garden’ on its title that won’t have planting and cultivating parts. You have an ‘epic garden’ where you can grow plants that become ingredients to make gear, potions, and other power-ups. Available plants won’t be many at the start, but you’ll get even better choices the farther into the game you go.
