Welcome to a totally realistic time management farm simulator. The name of the game is Virtual Farm Game, and you can either play it online through the Big Fish website or you can download a 60-minute trial version through your Big Fish account and the Game Manager app.
You start off with just a few patches of land, which you would have to farm off in order to earn money. The first crop you’ll be able to harvest is grass, which grows automatically off any tilled land that is not cultivated. You can get to buy seeds and grow crops later on, but first, you’ll need to live off the land and let grass earn money for you.
Once you’ve earned enough, you can buy additional plots of land and seeds.
There are several tools that you can use in your farm life in this game. You start off with two - mower and well. You will need to use the mower to harvest crops and then send them to the barn. The well is useful for collecting water, which you will need to spray on your crops so they can grow faster and be harvested sooner.
The barn only has a limited amount of space available, so you can only store a specific number of goods in it. To make sure you have enough space, make sure to send your items to the market where they will be sold.
Virtual Farm Games features a unique demand-driven system for the market. You can send your goods off to the market, for instance, and set a price to it according to the demand. There is a demand indicator right next to the item name. When the demand is high, set the price as high you can dare. When the demand is low, lower it down to drive sales.
At some point in the game, the cultivator becomes available. The cultivator is necessary for tilling land and getting it ready to grow actual crops instead of just grass. From that point on, you can use the cultivator on any piece of land to change the kind of crop you want to harvest from it. This is necessary if there is a considerable demand for a certain plant, and you don’t have the plots of land to accommodate its production.
You can also purchase production facilities. The first one is milk factory, which takes grass and converts them into milk products that you can then harvest and sell off in the market.
